Select the level where you want the bullet. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, select the arrow next to Multilevel List, and then select Change List Level. In the Follow number with drop-down box, select from Tab character, Space, or Nothing.įinish making your adjustments, and then click OK.Ĭlick next to the text for the bullet you want to change. To change an entire list level in a multilevel list, click one bullet or number at that level in the list. Click in the list to which you want to add picture bullets or symbols. If you don't see the style that you want in the library, you can define a new bullet style. Right-click, and then click Adjust List Indents.Ĭhange the distance of the bullet indent from the margin by clicking the arrows in the Bullet position box, or change the distance between the bullet and the text by clicking the arrows in the Text indent box. The Bullet Library includes symbol and picture bullet styles. Select the bullets in the list by clicking a bullet. Changing the position of the bullets in a list, or the spacing between the bullets and text involves fine-tuning the bullet indents.
